For my minu review, I must start by saying that I love Uppababy, this is not a paid post for them, I just love my minu stroller since I have had it (2019). And now there’s a new version 2023, I’m sure it has the same high quality and comfort.

Why do I love my Uppababy Minu Stroller? This is a True Mom Review.

— Or if you already love Uppababy like I do, you can just go and gran your Minu too here.

Lightweight Stroller – What sealed the deal for me was the weight. It sure is a very lightweight stroller which becomes very handy when you just have one hand to pull it in or out of the car.

Leathered Handle – Pushing the stroller has never been that comfortable, the leather makes it very nice and easy to maneuver and the feeling is very nice.

The Fabric – Overall, the stroller has a very good feel, and is a little bit impermeable (just a little bit, I don’t recommend going under the rain with it). This stroller is very high quality, and it feels this way.

Extendable Canopy – is very very (forgot to say very) large, I think is one of the largest canopies on a stroller I have seen (I went to the store like 5 times to see all the strollers and compared each one of them before making my final decision, so yes, I saw quite a few). This is very convenient, even more of you are from Florida (like me). This will protect your baby not just from the sun but from windy days too, and rain. Also, you can buy the rain cover for the Minu, it sure helped me a lot during Florida summer. Also, the canopy has a big “pick-a-boo” mesh window that folds and close with a magnet (which it won’t disturb your sleeping baby).

Easy to Maneuver – One of the most convenient things you need to look for in a stroller is that you can push it with just one hand. When you have a baby you will sometimes need an extra hand but don’t worry you will find your third and maybe your fourth hand in your mouth, foot, or maybe just a finger.

What I’m trying to say is that is so important that your stroller goes with your new lifestyle.

The Storage Basket – I have to say this one thing I’m not so happy with, but for me was fine. Again, it depends on your lifestyle. I am a simple mom who does not go everywhere all the time. I’m the one who stays at home and just goes out during weekends with the family. So yes, to me the basket was fine, and I have a pretty handy diaper bag, so comfortable that adds space to any stroller, so this is something you should think about when deciding what kind of diaper bag, you buy. You need one that fits in your storage basket or can hang it on the handle. And this one does. Also, the little pocket behind the handle has been very helpful to put my stuff like my cell, wallet, and more.

One-handed Fold – Another thing I like so much about my Minu is that is so easy to fold, I can do it with one hand and when it folds, it stays standing!!!!! This is so handy; you could not have any idea how much! Not every stroller does this.

To fold it, you just need to push the release button on the handle as you move it downward, and a latch holds the frame together. Here you will find a strap to carry it and another handle, which becomes very useful when boarding a plane or when taking it out or in the car. This is so handy; you could not have any idea how much! Not every stroller does this.

Multi-Reclines – this stroller has multiple positions for reclining. It is a strap that you put in the exact position you need for your baby. Although I don’t think is very comfortable doing this, but helps when lying nearly flat.

Travel System Friendly – this stroller has a bassinet and the Meza car seat that adapts to the frame. I personally have a Cybex car seat with the adapters and it has worked very well with my two kids.

Accessories – back in 2019, Minu did not have many accessories to enhance the Minu stroller, however, I think they just add some to the portfolio, like a PiggyBack for toddlers, I haven’t tried it but I will. Also, they have a rain shield, Snack Tray, a carry-all parent organizer, a cup holder, and a travel bag.

Uppababy Customer Service – maybe nobody thinks about customer service when you are deciding on a thing to buy. But let’s be smart here, you are investing in something that you will be using for a few years, maybe more, and thinking about warranty and customer service should be important. My experience with Uppababy was great. You need to register your stroller online and you will have 3 years of warranty that covers a lot. The latch from the stroller broke and they sent me a whole new frame to my door, for free!! You just needed to return the old one for free too! They have a phone message platform, super easy and super effective. So yes, to me this was surprisingly good.

Is Minu Right For You And Your Family?

What I was looking for in a stroller, was convenient, lightweight, practical, and comfortable for my baby. Also, I didn’t have to change it as my baby grew.

This is a stroller that you can use from birth (with the travel system) until you have a toddler (up to 50 lbs.). I’ve been using it since my son was born and now my baby girl is using it too.

It was the stroller for me (and still is) knowing that I wanted a stroller to take walks, go to the park, go to the mall, go to a restaurant, also I’d have been to the beach. (not the perfect wheels for that for I’d make it work).

So if you think these features suit you and your family and you are trying to be convinced, with closed eyes I recommend this stroller.
